Getting ready to stamp a sterling silver bar necklace this morning. I realized my tool setup would make a nice picture. I use a Swiss made quality jewelers saw. The stamps in the picture are one of my Tekton scripts. Of course the hammer in the photo is Fretz. I do not use the Fretz for stamping, but it looks much nicer for the picture. I have seen many questions about saw blades. When cutting silver I use a thicker blade that will not break easily. However, when cutting 14k gold I use a very fine tooth, thin blade. Time to...
